ISRAELITE ZIONIST CENTER OF COSTA RICA AWARDS TIKVÁ PRICE TO PRESIDENT RODRIGO CHÁVES

 

Dutring the month of March 2026, the Israelite Zionist Center of Costa Rica awarded President Rodrigo Cháves the Tikvá Price. Tikvá, meaning ‘Hope’ in Hebrew, was awarded to the President to strengthened the Bilateral relationship between the State of Israel and Costa Rica.

 

“Peace is something we all want, nevertheless it is not always achieved”, stated President Cháves after identifying a non disputed nor declined Responsibility the Price stands for (Cháves, 2026) (INFORAME).

 

During Ceremony, President referred to the significant Spiritual and transcending seeds aiming to preserve tradition, promises, life, future and identity. The Donation and planting of trees in the territory of Israel is according to PROCOMER, a strategic positioning of Costa Rica in a global ecosystem, defending the cultural approach of living as a Nation.

 

The Foreign Trade Promoter and governmental agency for investment PROCOMER identified the proportional success of economic prosperity that the State of Israel has had deciding to open a Commercial Bureau with Diplomatic Hierarchy in Jerusalem after the Bilateral Free Trade Agreement (FTA) was signed in December 2025.

 

The Free Trade Agreement develops commercial bonds with a sectorial focus, tariff elimination and strategic placement of products nonetheless, Tikvá is, for Costa Rica, an award for National Pride, Zionism, Peace and prosperity.
