Before official Oath of Office, Mayor of New York City, Zohran Mamdani, described leadership expected after being sworn, for the first time, with the Quran, December 2025.

Muslim politician, Zohran Mamdani, appointed Senior Policy Advisor, Ramzi Kassem, as Chief Council with the objective to defend commitment with the Supreme Court as well as the Constitution of the United States, the Constitution of the State of New York and the Charter of the City of New York.
