NATO SUMMIT IN ANKARA TRANSFORMATION OF DEFENSE SYSTEM

 

Ankara. During the month of July 2026, North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) gathered foundation members motivating Military Alliance towards a stronger future. President of the Republic of Turkey, Recep Erdogan, hosted meeting in Ankara confronting threats after peace dividens gathered after the end of the Cold War.

 

President Edrogan promoted a strategic transformation of the Defense System of the Military Alliance.signaling a turning point to confront the War between the Republic of Ukraine and the Russian Federation aiming a fair share ‘Border Share’ in NATO (Erdogan, 2026) (Al Jazeera English).

 

During 2028 the Republic of Turkey will command an Air Policing Mission in the Republic of Estonia including policing Turk F16 Jets and secured Defense Partnership with the Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland with the objective to deter, with a dimensional depth, Military Operations in the territory of Estonia.

 

Security and Defense Alliance with Great Britain will develop competences under the domain of technological superiority, sustainable capacity and scaled conjoint work for the North Atlantic Treaty Organization.

 

Albeit Turkey has covered War in Ukraine, advocated diplomacy and dialogue concerns expert defense products expected after transformation in Defense System, nevertheless glorious after joining NATO remembering achievements perceived after referred commitments acquired in the Hague in 2025 including responsibility and obligations.
