24 years after the State
of Emergency ‘9/11’ called by President of the United States, George Bush,
the Secretary of War, Pete Hegseth, remembered sites of attack albeit
identifying War risks from distanced
lands in the year 2001:
“we stood
(…) watch in distant lands on dangerous missions, often in retrospect, nebulous
missions”(Hegseth, 2025) (Pentagon).
Even though Secretary of War focused speech September
11th, 2025 in a ceremonial tribute to honor victims and heroes of
the United States of America, the reference about enduring War’s primary
objective to secure people was reestablished from the American War Department:
“All to
secure our people, and so (…) we could live in peace”. (Hegseth, 2025) (Pentagon).
